Yes, this is a huge machine!
And yes, this is my little sister in the driver seat! The picture is a little foggy, but that is why it looks like she is racing over the feed alley...! But in fact, she is almost standing still...

ReplyDeleteWhat a great shot this is Leontien!
ReplyDeleteShe looks so small compared to that big tractor! :-)
I am guessing I know who the girls are!!
Hi Leontien,
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting. Did you know you have 'no reply blogger' turned on?
Anyway, vole are tiny mole-like creatures that feed on the roots of plants - and not just small plants, but shrubs and some tree roots as well. They are doing quite a bit of damage in my front yard.
I read your previous post about lawns, and they are beautiful, but is the largest "crop" that requires irrigation in this country and uses way too much water. Plus the fertilizer used to make it so pretty runs into streams which feed the lakes and causes huge algae blooms. Environmentally speaking, lawns are a bad thing. But I agree - they are pretty!
Around here, I just have field grass/weeds, which I'm happy to have. I can barely keep up with the plants and animals I have without worrying about nice grass :)
wow that is one big machine.
ReplyDeletecathy
That is a big machine for a small woman but she looks exactly like she knows what she is doing....and you are right, she does look like she is going fast.
ReplyDeleteGlad you take such care of your 'girls' ... How many do you have there? I know there are lots and lots... Glad you have those huge machines to help you take care of them..
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Betsy

ReplyDeleteLooks like your set up isn't a backyard hobby. Thanks for stopping by and pushing my button.
