In the spotlight!

When your are a bit blue….

As in, waiting for biopsy results and because of that you simply can’t put a decent word on paper…

You paint…

Well at least that is what I do…. But because my painting is like my drawing in kindergarten (all over the place)  and as you can see in the picture of our bathroom, i must have been color blind at that time (I blame it on the meds)... I won’t bore you with how MUCH the color is going to CHANGE and yes practice makes perfect so I keep practicing...

Yes this is pinkish and purple... What was i thinking...

But since my right side is still hurting and yes, literally a little bit blue too, BUT only 2 stitches (whoohoo), and i couldn't finish my painting job...  I decided to show you something really neat! We, as in you and I, made it into the Progressive Dairyman Magazine!

Front page of Progressive Dairyman

The article! Yes you can enlarge and hopefully read...

Oh, so sweet!!!

Even more fantastic is that this magazine goes all over the US! And this makes me happy because i love to spread the word about how fantastic dairy farming, AND blogging is! So thank you all for making this happen i simply could not have done this without you all!

Hopefully tomorrow the waiting ends and i can tell you the good news that everything was negative and that i just have been an incredible stressed, emotional overwhelmed, silly girl! And i can go back to try to be a good wife, thoughtful family member, motivational employer and  good caretaker for all our girls (the cows)... yes i am a bit of a perfectionist, if you didn't already knew... ;-)

Dr Nala here we come!

Big hugs

Maybe I'm nuts, but I love the color! It gives a beautiful backdrop to that goregeous tub. It really packs a punch compared to my drab tiny bathroom.

Congrats on the Progressive Dairyman articles! How exciting.

Don't feel bad about the color thing. I often have to ask the Hubby about matching colors. He has a better eye for that than I do.

Good Luck at the Doctor. Keeping you in my prayers.

You are awesome! You rock! You are amazing!
Featured in a Nat'l Magazine - how cool is that?!
I actually like the pinkish/red color... not so sure about the purply color - maybe if it were deeper (sounds crazy) so it is of a similar depth of color as the pinky color. But... paint is cheap (relatively) and it must have been good therapy! Soak in that tub - relax!

Good wishes coming your way!

The tub is as pretty in the photo as it is in real life! We already knew you are a superstar...just glad to see someone else giving you some love...can't wait to get together very very soon!

I adore the tub AND THE COLORS! The colors were chosen for a reason, and maybe this is the place you need to be while you heal and relax, in the peace of your room. I find it inviting. Good luck to you and I hope you can lighten yourself w trying to do it all and be that perfectionist. It is your time to just be...

You don't get my blog:) LoL. Well that road is so bad that the photo with the trees and water is the road it is so deep now that two cars have had to be towed out. I like the road in a bad condition because people can't get down it and never try again as a tow may cost $200. unless some dumb farmer with a tractor pulls it out for free. Since we are the only close dumb farmer we are not doing it anymore unless these crazy kids give us $50. before we pull them out in the middle of the night. Nice road no traffic what is not to get. I hope you get my weird humour. :) B

Hey, the paint color looks fine, but I know how it is after you live with it for awhile. I got really sick of the green I thought I loved and finally pained it all beige. The one color I never got tired of was one called "ice princess" how funny is that? and I painted my bedroom that color. It was calming. Congrats on getting noticed and published, and what ice cream? I hope all is well.

~Kim at Golden Pines~ said...

I have to say that I 'kind of' like the color, but then I'm not seeing a room of it! I do hope you're doing well, and a big congrats and kudo to you for the spotlight--You deserve it!!!!
